Celtic Ferrets

 Kathy is a kind soul who has been caring for ferrets for over 12 years and is the sole proprietor of her shelter, Celtic Ferrets. At any given time, she could be found as a sanctuary not only ferrets, but minks, bunnies, sugar gliders, skunks, and any other creature abandoned at her doorstep.
As a recovered breeder, she now educates the public about ferrets through Ferret Awareness Days at local venues around her city. Kathy is a safehaven for biters inparticular and works with them in the hopes of socializing them enough for private adoptions. She has successfully socialized and adopted out as many at 10 biters in one year! Those ferrets would never have seen a forever home, if she had not worked with them and shown them what love and dedication are all about. Kathy is a proud member of the Heart of Ohio Ferret Association & Rescue in Columbus, Ohio.
